The focus will be on sharing practical experiences, scientific insights, and improved practices that promote animal welfare.
Confirmed keynote speakers include:
- Victor Lima (Brazil) – on reducing heat stress and Brazil’s leadership in upright broiler catching
- Donald Broom (UK) – pioneer in animal welfare science and one of the first to study laying hen welfare during catching and loading.
- Peter Knapen (NL) – director of a catching company, sharing insights and recent developments
In addition, Eyes on Animals will share concerns and best practices based on years of field inspections.
